TERMS & CONDITIONS
When engaging in a purchase with Cranes-UK or Kingsway Corporation Limited or using our Website you are subject to the following terms and conditions;
Quotations: All of our quotations for cranes and hoists are usually written quotations containing a unique quote number or by email which both are valid for 30 days (we provide longer upon request). On some occasions verbal quotations are supplied when requested and these are valid as verbally stipulated.
Payment Terms: Our payment terms are usually stated on each quotation however our usual terms are Net 30 days from date of invoice if purchased on credit. We also offer our Proforma service where payment can be made prior to dispatch of goods (we do not dispatch until payment has been cleared) by BACS (Bank Transfer), Credit Card (3% charge), Debit Card (free to process), Cheque (if UK based and proof of identity may be required). We only offer the above services to UK customers, please note that we reserve the right to ask for proof of identity, address and various other information required in order to prevent fraud.
International Payment is ONLY accepted via bank transfer, we regret that we CANNOT accept cheques, debit cards or credit cards on international or export orders. Cranes-UK offer credit accounts to internationally recognised companies only when goods are being shipped out of the United Kingdom.
Delivery: Delivery is stated on every quotation we issue and is issued as a manufacturers recommendation and not a fixed date unless otherwise mentioned. We cannot be held responsible for late deliveries and we are not liable for any charges and or late fees, labour charges etc. that may have resulted from a late delivery.
Delivery Charges: All delivery charges are non-refundable under normal circumstances and we reserve the right to issue an invoice to cover any unpaid shipping charges, repeat delivery charges or charges calculated after dispatch- these are all payable by the customer.
Import Taxes: When shipping internationally we quote delivery on an uncleared basis (unless specifically mentioned) this means CPT (carriage paid to destination) this excludes any import taxes, handling fees etc. All fees other than the freight quoted are to be covered by the customer/receiver. Should the receiver refuse to pay import duties or taxes the goods will either be destroyed with no refund issued or returned to our premises where the customer has the option to pay the initial import tax at the destination, return freight costs both ways, imports costs back to the UK, return freight and import costs to the final destination, failure to pay any costs incurred will result in no refund being issued and the goods being destroyed.
RETURNS POLICY
Cranes: Overhead Cranes, Jib Cranes and many crane components cannot be returned due to the nature of the product as they are often manufactured to the customers specifications, unless specifically mentioned, we cannot accept returns on cranes.
Lifting Gear- Cranes-UK offer returns on all under the hook lifting gear and basic hoists however we are required to impose a non-refundable re-stocking charge under instruction of the manufacturer in order to issue refund. This fee can be up to 50% on some items and on bespoke made to order items no refund can be offered unless the item is faulty or defective.
TAX
Tax: In the United Kingdom by law we are required to charge all of our customers Value Added Tax (VAT) at 20% this is added to all of our products, services and delivery charges.
Outside the UK: In the European Community we are able to zero rate VAT if the customer has a registered VAT number (subject to our validation).
Outside the EU/EC: When shipping outside the EU or EC we are able to zero rate VAT on all purchases prodded a proof of export is required (if we are shipping the goods you do not need to worry about this).
CARD & FINANCIAL SECURITY
Cranes-UK and Kingsway Corporation use a 100% safe and secure virtual terminal to process all card payments which is supported by Lloyds Bank so all of our customer can be assured of a safe and secure purchasing experience when buying from Cranes-UK. We take your financial security very seriously and promise to never distribute your details or insecurely store your details in any way.
Disclaimer: Cranes-UK and Kingsway Corporation try to ensure that all of our product descriptions are accurate and up to date at all times but regret that on some occasions suppliers fail to inform us of product specification changes and there for cannot be held responsible for any incorrect details or descriptions found on our Website. We reserve the right to make changes to product descriptions and prices at any time without notice. Kingsway Corporation also cannot be held responsible for any injury caused by the incorrect usage of our lifting equipment and is not rescuable for customers purchasing incorrect equipment or goods that are not fit for purpose and there for will still impose our returns policy where applicable.
Revisions to these terms: We may revise the above terms and conditions at any time and reserve the right to do so freely without notice.
