LIFTING SLINGS

Cranes-UK offer bespoke manufactured Lifting Slings that are assembled in the United Kingdom to your exact specifications. They can be used with many other kinds of lifting equipment, increasing capacity and helping to provide more support for a load. 
There are three main types that you can choose: chain slings, wire rope slings, and polyester slings. All of our slings are produced to the highest standards and complete with certificate of conformity enabling us to meet your companies high health and safety requirements.

Lifting Slings are the most commonly used item of lifting equipment. There are several grades including disposable 'one-use' slings, heavy duty, economy slings and many more. Balancing large loads is easily done with the use of Lifting Slings and Load Rated Straps.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF LIFTING SLINGS

  • Chain Slings:
    Chain slings can be used for a variety of functions within construction and industry. You can select from 1,2,3 and 4-leg chain slings, with capacities of up to 35 Tonnes. 
     
  • Wire Rope Slings:
    We supply wire rope slings that are single leg, 2 leg, 3 leg or 4 leg, with various end fittings to meet your needs. These can include soft eyes, thimble eyes and masterlinks.
     
  • Polyester Webbing Slings and Polyester Round Slings:
    We offer two types of polyester lifting sling: webbing slings and round slings. They can have up to a 200 Tonne capacity, and can be up to 50 metres in length. We can source slings and custom make them to your specifications.
